Egg Bake at The Fat Hen

So I made plans last weekend to check out Ballard Locks for an upcoming family photo shoot and wanted to scope out the place, so on my way there I decided to getting something to eat because I was HUNGRY!  So it was between Skillet Diner and The Fat Hen so you know which place won out. LOL! Thankfully parking wasn’t hard to find especially with it being so early in the day (10am or so) but there was already a line but didn’t mind the wait. Sat outside with a drip coffee in hand and waited for my name to be called…

Finally when I was seated looked over the menu and quickly decided on what I wanted to eat.   They have a great selection of benedicts to choose from but I wanted something different so ordered one of their egg bakes…Alla Boscaiola which is Two Eggs in Tomato with Sausage, Mushrooms and Mozzarella served with bread. Boy!! Every single bite was delicious and I was so thrilled to not be disappointed. I’m happy to say I ate it ALL!  NO SHAME! 🙂  Definitely check them out if you’re in the Ballard area.  Good Eats!!!

  1. Love the pictures, especially the Alla Boscaiola! There is a Mexican dish similar to this, but I forgot the name. Huevos El Diablo? I’m not sure. Have a great rest of the weekend!
